Essential Infrastructure Program

Several projects related to the Horseshoe Bay Essential Infrastructure Program will soon be underway. While no sailing cancellations associated with this work are planned, vehicle and foot passengers may notice changes to traffic and loading patterns. Please follow the direction of terminal personnel.

Long-term Parking Reduced – starting September 2, 2025

Parking availability in the surface lot adjacent to the Horseshoe Bay terminal building has been reduced due to construction.

Additional parking is available at:

• BC Ferries parkade south of the terminal (entrance on the left after entering the village).
• Lion’s Mark parking lot, located across the street.

If you are picking up passengers, please note the drop-off area has a maximum wait time of 3 minutes.

Geotechnical Drilling — September - October, 2025

As part of terminal improvement planning, drilling of small test holes will take place in both the marine and upland areas to help us better understand site conditions. While some moderate noise may be heard in the immediate vicinity, every effort will be made to minimize disruption for nearby residents.

We will provide updates through Service Notices should there be any impact to operations.
