Tour the Cowichan Valley in an intimate group and learn how three local wineries craft their wine with native grapes distinct to the area. The afternoon includes a picnic with food prepared according to dietary restrictions at the winery, accompanied with an intimate tasting of limited release exclusives each with a unique and distinctive flavour profile. 

Highlights:

• Visit three wineries in private groups, on a 6 hour guided tour as you journey down backroads on a picturesque route from the sea shore to mountain vistas. 
• Each guided tour includes commentary on the history of the valley’s continuously growing wine scene. 
• Observe how these artisanal wines are created with unique grape varieties.
• Includes a tailored picnic-style lunch, served at a winery with a sampling of wine with unique grapes varieties that are only found to the region.
• Tour gets back to hotel at 4pm.

The Island Time Tours Cowichan Food and Wine Tour is available Wednesday to Sunday April 9 to November 2, 2025. Tours are available Friday to Sunday November 7 to December 20, 2025.

Guests are to arrive at the meeting location at 9:45am. The tour will depart at 10am sharp.

Lunch is included in the tour. Please let Island Time Tours know if you have any dietary restrictions.

Guests should bring two pieces of ID - If you are planning to consume alcohol. Guests must be 19+ to consume alcohol.

Tour Availability: please note a minimum of four participants is required for the tour to take place. Should there not be enough guests, the tour may be cancelled and a BC Ferries representative will notify you.
